Another Episode for the win, Alhamdulilah. (Forgive us for the loud wind in the background lol)

 If you haven’t noticed yet, during the full video interview, I included this part in the description explaining why I invited the interviewee to the show.

It’s my way of connecting with you more and also letting you peek into my mind, in case you ever wonder, ‘Why in the world did you invite this person?’

Now to the good stuff, this is Brother Shareef. AKA The Muslim Homesteader

I found Brother Shareef on IG. Blown away to have found a Muslim homesteader/farmer posting content about actually being a homesteader and farmer. 

I am a huge fan of farming, so finding brother Shareef’s content was exciting, to say the least. 

Then I notice he actually had Dr. Khalid Green as a resident of his community and I was like subhanAllaah, where is this?

After much digging, I noticed he was speaking about his community Andalucia NM.

From there I inquired more about the community and immediately reached out. 

See for me, He was an obvious choice. Not just to talk about being a landowner which many of us may know the importance of that. More importantly to speak on the power of becoming a more self-reliant community. 

More self-reliant in our income, jobs, food even education.
