Description

This week on Chess Journeys, I spoke with Ryan. He’s trying to balance college, sports, and chess improvement. Ryan has had periods of explosive ratings gain, and he dove into the secrets of his success. He attributes much of his success to playing rapid games, learning his openings, and more recently focusing on endgames. He highlighted Practical Chess Endings by Paul Keres.
