Description

I'm a therapist-turned-coach, with openings for 1:1 clients. If you're looking for someone to help you change things that feel unchangeable, schedule a complimentary consultation to see if I'm the best fit for you.

Full disclosure: this episode was prompted by an algorithmic gift on the 'Gram - a post titled "The Scam of Millennial Motivational Coaches." Not only was I offended by the mention of my generational label (millennials are AMAZING, ok??), but I had so many issues with the points being made throughout the post that I decided I needed to record an episode.

Listen as I walk you through these common coaching criticisms, and offer my own thoughts and a different perspective. This is a nuanced discussion, and my hope is simply that you have more information to help you decide who you want to work with when looking for a coaching (or therapy) practitioner.
