Ep. 393 Is Rare Tone Deaf?

This week in Sea of Thieves, Rare has released the latest patch, which includes quick swap ranged weapons as well as the return of Reaper Chests to the Fort of the Damned. A quality of life update came with the reduction of black screens for lower-end hardware. The biggest thing right now is that Rare is looking to sell you a customizable audio setup for $20 to simulate 7.1 channel audio for the game. While it remains to be seen how good this actually is, a lot of the community is calling out Rare for trying to charge for this new feature that no one asked for.
