Hey adventurers! This week we cover the story of Marcus Mazzaferri and how he survived, then self-rescued from a dangerous situation without his gear while hiking the Pacific Coast Trail (PCT)! While in Yosemite along the famous trail, he survived a disasterous river crossing and a below freezing night with no supplies and no communication. He stayed smart, kept warm, and navigated his way to safety even without his glasses.
Watch out for those rivers and keep a small survival kit on your person, everyone!
