Nicolaas Oogjes is the ringleader of globulous, wonky and gooey Melbourne band NO ZU. Self labeled as ‘Heat Beat’, NO ZU is a 10-piece party of flesh, muscles, horns, rotor toms, whistles and ass shaking vibes. We sat down to talk about constructing the ZUniverse, Nic’s new project Cong Josie, The no strings attached policy of NO ZU and how Australian dance act the Potbelleez (maybe) came up with their smash hit ‘Don’t Hold Back’.
