Brandon Bandy & Rachel Jackson are artists, publishers, and a couple working in Southern California. Together, they run Special Effects Books, though have individual works in the most recent article drop of Do Not Research and pieces in the Do Not Research Group Show happening now at Lower Cavity in Holyoke, MA. We discuss how it is working within contemporary MFA systems, becoming Christorians, salvaging a Charli D’Amelio iced coffee with the in-car air conditioning, making art that’s funny, bootlegs, and the contemporary landscape of post-internet art.
