Both as one that was saved from no Christian background, thrown into Christian leadership in a tradition that initially did not recognise her as a leader, and a multiplicity of ways that she has been breaking ground ever since. Kate was the first Black Female Ordained within her tradition in the UK, and she has become critically acclaimed for her influence across the British church for her reflections on leadership shifts required in our churches.
