The question is how attachment is the cause of all the emotional pain and misery and why detachment is the way to peace and fulfillment.
Friends, when we attach ourselves to anything it not only gives rise to fear, but also brings with its emotions like anger, ego, sadness, jealousy, greed, comparisons, hatred, hatred, et cetera. All these emotions have these roots in attachment, which gives rise to insecurity and discontent. Then why do we have to stay attached to anything?
Attachments can be both internal, encompassing our thoughts, behaviors, and beliefs, or external, such as our job or social status.
Negative emotions tied to these attachments often generate internal mental pressure and feelings of helplessness.
However, by detaching ourselves from these circumstances, conditions, and even our own mental constructs like beliefs and behaviors, we can find a liberating freedom that is unburdened by illusions of the world around us.
This is the key to attaining peace, harmony, and fulfillment in every facet of our lives."
