In today's episode of 'greens & scenes', Cam and G sit down and discuss one of the pillars of Scottish winter golf (the dreaded fairway mat). While it has caused confusion for those not living in Scotland, it is common to see mats out in use on Scottish fairways from November to March each year. Thankfully they will be disappearing soon and summer rules will come back in 🤩
We also discuss G's 1st tournament of 2025: The Old Course in reverse! Over the history of The Old Course, it has regularly been played both ways and, for a weekend in April, it will again be played backwards 🔙 G managed to get lucky in the ballot for the event and will tee it up alongside several other local golfers in a couple of weeks time 👀
As it is the start of the golf season, that means The Masters is around the corner. Cam gives his pick for the 2025 event and it is certainly not a name that anyone would have expected! 🏆
