He's recognized as one of today's best producers of mind-expanding themes such as conscious capitalism, mysticism, indigenous wisdom, plant medicines, and consensual non-monogamy. His documentaries 2012: Time for Change:  and From Neurons to Nirvana made the lists for best social change docs. More recently based in Ibiza, Giancarlo is involved in regenerative projects in the fields of hospitality with Difuso and agriculture with Terra Viva Ibiza.
