I’m Ashley Vanness, 39 years old, and I’ve spent 25 years fighting addiction. But today, I refuse to let it define me anymore. I’m adventurous, outgoing, and love the outdoors—and I’m finally getting back to the real me. I’m blessed with an amazing fiancé, two sweet dogs, and the best family ever. I’m also a proud domestic violence survivor and currently doing well in drug court, taking back my life one day at a time. Yes, I’ve made some bad choices, but my sobriety journey is proof that your past doesn’t have to control your future. I’m walking in freedom, rebuilding my life, and sharing my story to inspire others in addiction recovery to keep going—because healing is possible, and hope is real.
