The car belongs to an older client of mine, whom I hadn’t seen in over a year. He responded to a “reactivation offer” I sent him, and wanted to schedule his car for cleaning.
Because business was a bit slow at the time, I booked him in right away, skipping the crucial steps of inspecting the car first and asking him a few qualifying questions.
As it turns out, that came back to bite me in the butt…
