Wow! What a lousy football weekend we had in the Hames Family last Saturday and Sunday. Good grief! Everything that could go wrong – did go wrong. It started with TCU losing to UT by five points, but I’ll get into that a little bit later in this segment. Heck, even my daughter Schuyler’s LSU Tigers bit the dust in Death Valley Saturday night, and they don’t lose many games at night in Baton Rouge. The thing that was frustrating about that game was that LSU played well enough to win, but they just couldn’t hang on to the lead late in the game, and Auburn came back to steal it in the fourth quarter.
