Today we are celebrating the first of many 40th anniversaries, kicking things off with Walter Hill's rock and roll fable Streets of Fire. A film that had a lot more influence on pop culture than anyone could have foreseen at the time, even if you've never seen this movie you've likely seen one that took inspiration from it, music videos that learned from it's editing or video games that took the aesthetic and ran with it.
