While the rest of us were trying to stay safe at home during a global pandemic, nearly 100 City of Carson staff members got together in March 2020 to form the City of Carson COVID-19 Task Force to help get necessary services and supplies to the most vulnerable populations in our community. Their efforts and commitment to the City is why the Carson COVID-19 Task Force is the recipient of the 2022 Sai Momoli Civic Excellence Award. We had the honor and the pleasure to chat with several members of the task force about their experiences on the front lines and behind the scenes during the COVID-19 pandemic.
