In 1987, viewers of the WGN Channel 9 network in Chicago were expecting to watch the nine o'clock news that evening, when a strange man wearing a rubber Max Headroom mask suddenly appeared on their screens. Two hours later, during an episode of Dr. Who on WTTW Channel 11, the same Max Headroom impersonator interrupted the broadcast. But this time, he had a lot more to say.
