Episode 1: Chatting Shit with Victoria Emes
Description
Up the Duff is brought to you by the Positive Birth Company in Partnership with Elvie
Produced by Audio AF
In this first series we are diving straight in at the deep end and tackling TABOOS! The everyday stuff most people experience after having a baby, but which nobody likes to talk about.
I’ll be chatting to friends of The Positive Birth Company about their experiences, as well as sharing my own, on everything from poo, wee, mind, body, sex and bodily fluids. If it’s a bit gross or a bit embarrassing, you can be sure we’ve got it covered.
About this episode
We are going to be talking about the inevitable pooing in labour, the first poo after birth... if you know, you know, before moving on to discussing the surreal experience of having to document the changing colour of your newborn baby’s poo and then finishing off with the highlights - or rather lowlights - of our first-hand lived experience with poonamis, poo-gates and tales of potty training gone wrong. If you’re tuning in for some solid reliable advice on how to potty train, I’m afraid this is the wrong podcast, or at least the wrong episode!
