In this episode, hosts Lily and Ling are joined by two WashU students: Jessica Yu and Patrick Zhou. After a hectic 2020 summer Jessica and Patrick share some of their opinions on remote learning and the pandemic as well as international and domestic political matters. In this first part of a 2-part episode, Jessica and Patrick discuss how the pandemic specifically affected their own personal and academic life. Patrick also shares personal insight on how he views current U.S.-China relations in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.
