In another episode celebrating Hospice Care Week (5th - 11th October 2020), our theme for the week is "We have the time to...". Podcast hosts Gina and Tamsin are joined in this episode by Janet Barnie - Ward Clerk at our Mount Edgcumbe Hospice and, we think we can say, stalwart of the hospice movement in Cornwall.
We take Janet back to the time when there were no hospices in Cornwall and her involvement in fundraising alongside our founding mother Enid Dalton-White to get the first purpose built hospice open, and also reminisce about all the special moments that the hospice team have been able to help with over the years, including weddings, christenings, pet visits and much more.
