Get it, "Souled" Out, Sold Out? Anyway, after the fallout that was Starrcade 1997, WCW tried to kick start 1998 with this nWo influenced PPV. While the World Title drama is mentioned, the main event was... Lex Luger v Macho Man in a non title bout that lasted 7 minutes. This despite having a wonderful Flair-Hart match on the card. We also had some incredible luchador action, Jericho and Mysterio making lemonadel, nWo overbooking, and Benoit looking like the Bryan Danielson prototype.
