- Shepherd praises the "Gogomobile" at length (a cheap Dutch auto). Ronald Metzger said it for all of us. A Bacchanalian cry: Evoe! (May 2, 1959)
- 12:15 P. M. to 2:00 P. M. The first Jean Shepherd show on a Saturday afternoon. "I'm Forever Blowing Bubbles," two letters from kid listeners are read, the solar system and restrooms. A five-and-dime grab bag. Shep complains about American radio and compares it to radio services around the world. The Mutual net news at 1:00 P. M. has been deleted. (March 26, 1960)
