Kelly discusses how she had to adjust her dreams and expectations for her daughter, and how she had to stop trying to make her daughter just like herself. Kelly also shares how her husband’s involvement in NAMI led Kelly to attend a Family to Family class, where she was able to feel seen and heard and not isolated.
