Description

The Tower of Babel has always felt like a distant story about a vengeful God. Jeremy and I dive into this story and reveal what knowledge we gained in translating it. The Tower of Babel is a story about empire and the quest for power, about poor theology and the dangerous cycle of confirmation bias.

But, most importantly, it’s about the absolute necessity for diversity. Diversity in representation, voice, relationships, and power. When Yahweh confuses the language, it was never a punishment, it was always a gift.

Today’s episode features a special reading form Timshel, so be sure to listen to the end!
