28th June 2025 marked the deadline for implementing the European Accessibility Act (EAA), a EU Directive aimed at establishing a series of accessibility requirements for products and services such as computers, smartphones, banking apps or e-commerce platforms. 


Daniel Casas (European Disability Forum), Susanna Laurin (International Association of Accessibility Professionals) and Svajūnė Sirvydytė (Ministry of Social Security and Labour of Lithuania) talk with us to let us know more about this new legal state of play. 


We also talk with the Vice-President of the Lithuanian Association of the Blind and Visually Impaired, Vilmantas Balčikonis, and discover more about the latest updates in our Lithuanian Member.
