Description

In this episode, we talk about the little things that coaches look for when recruiting players in the summer for their program. It is not just pitching velocity, exit velocity, or your defensive prowess. While these are important, coaches want to see how complete a baseball player you are. Can you run the bases hard and correctly? Can you get yourself into the correct position on cuts and relays? What does your routine look like on deck and in the box? What is your level of feel or instincts for the game? Can you control the running game or field your position as a pitcher? A lot more goes into evaluations than just how hard you may throw or hit the baseball.
