This debate between James P. Miller (1915-1978) and Guy N. Woods (1908-1993) was held in Montgomery, AL from August 29th to September 1st, 1966.
The proposition for August 29th and 30th was: "It is in harmony with the Scriptures for churches of Christ to build and maintain benevolent organizations for the care of the needy, such as Boles Home, Tipton Home, Tennessee Orphan Home, Childhaven, and other orphan homes and homes for the aged that are among us."
