Last week - Apple hit one Trillion in market cap (Amazon, Alphabet and Microsoft ain't far behind). If your name is Warren Buffett, your stake in Apple is worth about $50 Billion. Nice. And of course, many mutual funds, EFT's and Index funds also have large stakes in Apple. You're probably listening to this podcast on an iPhone or Android phone. The popularity of podcasts are a direct result of the universal adoption of smartphones. And we have Steve Jobs and Apple to thank for mobile apply, the app ecosystem and many companies in the HR and TA tech space who's solutions are based on mobile - especially iOS platforms.
And speaking about Alphabet, you know, Google? They've opened up their jobs API. According to Chad Sowash Johnson & Johnson has seen a "41% increase in candidates for hard to find positions. We're talking about like scientist, oncologist, those types of positions. 41% increase in candidates for those positions!" Oh, and then there's Hire by Google - Candidate Matching.
