The reason the thermostat is the last unresolved arena in the battle of the sexes is this: women feel temperature in Kelvin and men feel temperature in Celsius. Women hear 68 degrees and think “Good god that’s insane, is he trying to make this house a meat locker?” and they really mean it, because 68 degrees Kelvin is ***cking cold. Men hear 68 degrees and think “Gee I could strip down to my underwear…could I take off my skin too?” and they mean it because they’re probably slightly overweight and ingest too much cumin and chili powder.
