When People talk about killing themselves they probably
have at the very least thought about it. Folk who look
for or research ways to kill themselves, or
folks who make comments about life not being worth
living, are screaming out for help, will you be
there for them?
Suicide is one of the top leading causes of death
for every age group, gender, and ethnicity.
The FTP FAM dispelled some myths about suicide
and discussed risk factors and warning signs for
which loved ones and families must be on guard.
One of our listeners shared his rather
narrow/unenlightened view of therapy and its
usefulness & necessity for Black Folks.
