Happy Holidays my friends!  This week on “The Conversation Network”, I am joined by my friend, Alexis Hupe, another fellow USAF veteran whom I met at the start of my military journey 10 years ago in technical training for contracts and acquisitions.  One of the core values for all Airmen is “Service Before Self”, and y’all, if there was ever a demonstration of that value, it’s through Alexis’ story that she was kind enough to share with us.  We’ve both been able to make pivots in our careers, and I was truly touched by her story of returning to her family’s business following tragedy during an already difficult time.  

She is now a certified Loan Officer with X2 Mortgage and is authorized in multiple states, including her home state of Arizona, California, Texas, and Florida, so if you’re in any of those areas and looking to purchase a home, holler at my girl!  She shares some insight on the current market as well as some foundational knowledge about down payments, interest rates, and credit scores that I wish I had taken the time to understand when purchasing my own homes.  Moral of the story: DO YOUR RESEARCH!  Thank you to Alexis for this very candid discussion, and I hope you are as touched by it as I was.
