Vogue Australia’s associate digital editor, Lucie Clark, chats to Nicole Eckels, the founder and CEO of Australian-based home and personal fragrance brand, Glasshouse Fragrances. New York-born and raised, the beauty and fragrance aficionado launched Glasshouse Fragrances in 2006 after moving to Australia and experiencing an unsuccessful shopping trip for a scented candle. In this episode, Nicole discusses how she went from idea to fully-fledged brand, including learning how to make candles in her kitchen, and why staying authentic, listening to her gut instincts, and being okay with making mistakes, has helped her build her brand into the success it is today.
