“Linda Wase Vaal comes from the Sedibeng Vaal region of Gauteng. He is known for his deep and eclectic sound which is influenced by genres including Chicago House, Detroit House, Tech-House, Minimal & Garage.
He started as a record collector in 2004 and turned professional in 2007. In 2008 he began producing and would go on to release numerous EPs, Singles and Remixes on various online music platforms.
His accolades include winning Best DJ in The Vaal Triangle at The Golden Men and Women Awards in 2016, and Best Mix DJ at the Vaal Music Awards in 2018. He also clinched victory in the InTheRing DJ competition on YFM and has served as a Resident DJ on Sunday Sessions on 5fm.
Linda's signature sound is characterized by deep, infectious dance grooves, creating a feel-good atmosphere he dubs "Deepshizol."
