Description

In Episode 163 of Theology In Particular, I’m joined by Dr. James Renihan to discuss John Cotton and his book, The Keys Of The Kingdom Of Heaven. This book influenced many in the seventeenth century, including John Owen. Owen credits this book with convincing him of the congregational way. Therefore, Cotton’s Keys significantly impacted the Savoy Platform of Polity and chapter 26 of the Second London Confession Of Faith: Of The Church.
