Topics will include physiological components of hypotension (e.g. mean arterial pressure, systemic vascular resistance, cardiac output, cardiac index, heart rate, stroke volume, ejection fraction, preload, contractility), nervous system effects on the heart (e.g. autonomic innervation, baroreceptors, chemoreceptors), and briefly discuss coronary blood flow.
