John has been a fishing guide for 35 years, known by some as the true “Ghost of the Coast.” From salmon and steelhead on the North Coast, to stripers on the Sacramento, John is a true legend amongst the guide community. We were lucky enough to chat with John about his early days in Alaska, why tarpon are the only fish he likes to catch on flies, his desire to find new ways to catch fish, and the mindset it takes to make a career sharing experiences with others.
