Returning for a fourth time! Author Alma Katsu is most well known for her historical horror novels. We are here to talk about her new contemporary horror novel Fiend. While it is simple to just say this novel is horror version of Succession is fair but this novel is an excellent exploration of the tangled webs of evil, power and greed.
We go about 25 minutes without spoilers, and then go a little deeper. This conversation is heavy on process and narrative tricks. Alma and I also get into the idea of “knowing the assignment.”
