Niveditha is pursuing research in Human-Robot Interaction and its applications to surgery. She talks about the hurdles she faced as a woman in research, how she overcame them, and what life looks like for someone pursuing Ph.D. We also learn about what steps undergrad students should take if they do not have immediate access to research facilities and mentors.
