Episode 2: The Grind Includes Trusting The Process
Description
This episode of Chop Shop is definitely a good one. Wynton and RJ are joined by a special guest, who has his ears pretty close to the streets when it comes to professional sports. Together, they’re going to discuss takeaways from the early part of the NFL season: who they’re impressed with, unimpressed with, like, and who’s on their ‘radar’, including each person’s Super Bowl prediction (you’ll want to hold on to this episode until February 4, 2018). Also, with viewership ratings down, is the NFL losing popularity, or are people finding more easily accessible ways or watching games (i.e. streaming)? What are their thoughts on drafts in general, but specifically the NBA Draft and how they can correct the process, or ‘tanking’. They also talk about what they like about the draft; it’s not all bad guys. Finally, this interview with Matthew Holmes is one you absolutely do not want to miss. Here what it’s like behind the scenes and what it took to get here (including a bit of luck taking a chance on 11 o’clock). Always, the best story you’ll hear may be the one when he casually, yes casually, explains what it’s like working a particular sporting event last year, and guys it’s worth the wait.
