Episode 2 - 25 Years On...
Description
Content Warning: reference to violence (support services linked below).
In episode two, Mike is joined once again by Victims’ Commissioner Ian Jeffers alongside Victims’ Forum member Paul McCormac.
Together they reflect upon the Belfast Good Friday Agreement 25 years after it was signed. Paul shares his personal story, and his family's struggle through grief and hardship after the deaths of his father and uncle during the conflict in Northern Ireland known as the Troubles.
Paul, Ian and Mike discuss the progress made since the signing of the Agreement, but also why there's much more to be done to address the needs of victims and survivors beyond it.
