Dr. Stan Sonu, MD, is a pediatrician and internal medicine specialist in Chicago. He completed his residency at Rush University Medical Center. He's passionate about urban primary care and research into how adverse childhood experiences and community trauma impact health. He is an advocate for delivering high quality care to medically underserved communities. In December 2017, he gave a Tedx talk about the science of adversity and systemic empathy.
