On Monday 9 August, the United Nations Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change released its sixth assessment report, with a press release describing climate change as “widespread, rapid, and intensifying”. Professor Andy Pitman, a lead author on the IPCC’s third and fourth assessment reports, discusses the challenges facing Australia and the issues for business. He is joined by Energetics’ Sally Cook who works with boards and executives to understand and manage their climate risks.
