Fasting is mentioned frequently in the Scriptures, and it was once an important part of worship and walking with the Lord. Fasting combined with prayer is a powerful tool in the Christian faith, but we often overlook it as a prescription for many issues we face. Today, we welcome Duane Wieding to discuss the benefit of prayer and fasting in our walk with Christ.

Duane Wieding is a licensed Physical Therapy Specialist at Fort Sam Houston, Texas. He graduated with honors in 1986. Having more than 38 years of diverse experience, Duane is a physical therapist, a brother in Christ, and one of my oldest and closest friends. He has preached and taught Bible classes in his own ministry, on my behalf and on behalf of other pastors. Duane fasts for spiritual and health benefits, and he is here today to share the wisdom God gave him about fasting.
