Dominic highlights the challenges of early-stage investing, which requires active involvement. He criticises crowdfunding for its lack of investor protection measures, leading to potential losses for inexperienced retail investors.

Charles also notes the allure of crowdfunding in conjunction with Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) investments. However, he cautions that it can be more expensive in the long run without professional guidance. Berger agrees and stresses the importance of investing in companies that investors truly believe in, something which the UK's first ISA millionaire Lord Lee advocates.
