Mark is absolute fireworks—his wrestling style embodies the spirit of “Say When.” He charges into every match with intensity, bringing the heat to all opponents and trusting the battle to unfold from there.

His journey began with Cimarron High School’s youth team before making his final stop at ATC. It was through competition that Mark discovered his true love for wrestling, even while balancing his passion for football.

Surprisingly, despite his aggressive style, Mark admits to struggling with confidence throughout his career. His approach in matches was often raw and relentless—scrapping, pushing the pace, and diving in with hopes of grabbing a leg. That relentless energy forged him in the fire of elite competition, as he consistently faced some of the toughest wrestlers around.

Reflecting on his career, Mark recognizes both the highs and lows of battling such talented opponents. His resume speaks for itself: a two-time State Placer, three-time Regional Runner-Up, and a High School All-American.
