Episode 230 - How clothing and style supported identity rebuilding
Description
- This story discusses cancer *
In this episode I'm chatting to Vikki who I met at a Look Good Feel Better, Styling for Confidence workshop.
Vikki is a young mum and cancer survivor whose face changed dramatically after treatment for head and neck cancer. Like many, she had to rebuild my confidence when the mirror didn’t reflect the woman I remembered.
Vikki shares a short personal discussion on finding confidence again when your appearance has changed, we chatted on her raw, honest insight into recovery, how clothing and style supported identity rebuilding & practical suggestions for women navigating altered appearance
This is about reclaiming identity and visibility with gentleness and strength and showing readers that resilience really does look different on every face.
I was honoured to interview Vikki & truly understand how style has supported her during this time.
