First, if you don't know, you'll learn the value of builders exchanges to the local region and secondly, you'll hear specifics of how builders exchanges make a difference in employment and careers in the trades. Since the majority of any builders exchange membership is made up of small business owners, the relationship with the NFIB is an obvious one. Advocating for building related trades, goods and services with local and state governments is one big role they play but the SRBX has an even greater accomplishment and that is the effort being made to draw students into the trades through a long running program called the "Design Build" competition. 38 years running, this program is making a difference in the lives of students who intentionally choose to enter the construction trade.
