Description

First off, my apologies to Misty M. Beller for both forgetting to schedule her episode release and THEN getting it pushed back after my husband's accident. She got a double whammy (as did one other author) and she's been amazingly gracious.  But you need to hear about the great new series she started last year and all the cool books coming from both a group of sisters in one era and a group of brothers in another!  Listen in to find out why I'm still planning to read a Christmas collection after Christmas thanks to her!

Are You Ready to Take a Romantic Trip to the Rocky Mountains?

I knew when I learned I was going to be talking with Misty M. Beller that I'd have a great time.  I just didn't know that I was going to end up being an exercise in patience and grace for her.  First, something went off with our scheduling thanks to new computer woes and then I forgot to put her episode on the calendar! Once I did, I then had to let it go after my husband's hospitalization, which meant she got a triple blow from me.  Show this woman some love, folks. She's amazing.

But we had a great chat both before and after the episode finished recording, but I wanted to highlight the important stuff.

TWO new series in 2023 (that will continue into 2024!  You don't want to miss:

Sisters of the Rockies:  A series about four sisters who were inspired by Misty's own daughters.

Brothers of Sapphire Ranch: Six brothers with a secret ranch and the mail-order bride who shows up unwanted.  Come on.  This sounds amazing, right?

Also... don't forget Christmas Bells and Wedding Vows with Jodi Hedlund and Lacy Williams!

Rocky Mountain Promise by Misty M. Beller

Lorelei Collins possesses a soft heart for any animal in need, so when she finds a buffalo calf bawling beside its lifeless mother, she can't help but bring it home to raise on the ranch she and her sisters are building in the Rocky Mountain wilderness. Little does she realize that its white coloring is rare and considered sacred by Native Americans, which makes it highly valuable to them and European trappers alike. Men soon begin to visit their ranch to regard the marvel, with some trying to woo Lorelei into marriage and others trying to steal the calf outright.

When the men's advances become more sinister, Lorelei approaches Tanner Mason, the quiet and mysterious owner of the new trading post, with an idea: she and the calf will move to his post, along with her family's trusted Blackfoot friend. This will solve both their problems by bringing customers to his trade room and protecting her family from the trouble brought on by so many strangers. Yet as the danger travels with her, Lorelei and Tanner are faced with a threat greater than anything they're prepared for--one that will test the limits of their abilities and the love growing between them.

The Sisters of the Rockies series is still 30% off (and preorder of the next at 40% off!!) with free shipping at BakerBookHouse.com.
