Episode 3, Legendary Lawyer, John Clark
Description
Welcome to another Episode of Legendary Lawyers. Today we have a very special guest, John Clark. John Clark was born in Austin, Texas, and grew up in Beaumont. He holds a B.B.A. from Lamar University and an L.L.B. from the University of Texas. Between undergraduate and law schools he served a tour of duty with the United States Army in the Far East.
Clark's legendary legal career has combined substantial measures of state and federal public service with private practice. He has served as a Justice of the Texas Court of Appeals (Fourth District); as United States Attorney for the Western District of Texas; and as trail attorney in the Criminal Division of the United Stated Department of Justice, in Washington D.C.
In 1995, Clark published The Fall of the Duke of Duval, An Aggressive Federal Prosecutor tells the Inside Story of the Final Chapter on the Corrupt Political Empire of George Parr.
Clark and his wife, the former Carolyn Tevis, of Beaumont, have four children with grandchildren. When he isn't practicing law or writing, Clark enjoys fishing, photography and running.
What a career, thanks so much for tuning in.
