For many of these artists I struggle with the pronunciation of their names. So to make them more accessible to you (and to me), I'm going to write down a few of the players as I give you the 'set list' of recordings I'm using for this episode.

The Veil--Jussi Reijonen. from album called Kolme Toista (translates as Three Seconds). With Reijonen on fretless guitar, Jason Palmer-trumpet, Utar Artun-piano, Kyle Miles-bass, Bulut Gulen- trombone, Naseem Alatrash- cello, Keita Ogawa- percussion,Vancil Cooper-drums.
Tourist Point of View-Duke Ellington. From The Far East Suite, written by Ellington and Billy Strayhorn. Features Paul Gonsalves on tenor sax. I also hear some of that wild trumpet playing of William "Cat" Anderson.
